This is the best seam ripper ever. I have a longarm machine and embroidery machine the the tip of this ripper is so tiny,it gets in those tight spots.

The mini seam ripper is a great little tool. It is razor sharp and small enough to get into the smallest places to rip those stitches. I give them to all of my friends and they love it, too. I also use it to rip out embroidery stitches. The fine point allows me to get under the stitches and not rip the fabric at the same time.
I sew for a very large college band in which I do a lot of seam ripping and I've tried roughly 8-9 other types of seam rippers (from the inexpensive to the top of the line brands) and until this one, I can't say I've been truly happy with any of them. Another reason I've been unhappy with the others is because of the unbelievable number of them I've broke tearing out uniform seams and hems. I do a lot of general sewing & embroidery and unfortunately on occasion need to rip out some embroidery stitches (NOT EASY!). Anyone that does embroidery will understand how important it is to have a very fine point and sharp edge in order to get under the stitches w/o pulling the stitches and tearing the fabric. This seam ripper is such a time saver for me and because of that I decided to look it up online so I could buy more (store only had a few left). I couldn't believe it was actually $1.01 less then what I paid for it at the store ($1.99), which was very inexpensive to begin with. I like it so much I bought 5 of them so I could have them in every one of my sewing kits and I'll definitely be buying more when these wear out. Price: can't beat it Size & weight: comfortable and easy to maneuver shape and size that is also easy on my arthritic hands Very fine tip: easily picks up even the finest stitches w/o harming fabric and is a must have for anyone that tears out embroidery stitches Razor sharp edge: slices through stitches w/o pulling on stitches
