I've had a combi-cut for 25 yrs, use it all the time and it still works like the day I got it. I recently broke mine and ordered 2 more so I can have one to leave with my sewing machine and one to take with me. Anyone who has borrowed it wants to know where I got it. It is a quality product!

It's sharp and thin enough to get right under the smallest stitch. It cuts quickly and easily. If you have a thread to take out, push out the tweezers and grab it. Gone! Just a great tool, and not too fat for my small hands.

I quickly found it was the best seam ripper I'd ever come across. I first found these in my local Hancock Fabrics store. They stopped carrying them a few years ago, and that was sad indeed. Thankfully there are a few places online you can find them. I bought them for my Mother in law and she loves them too. They are my go to answer for anyone who needs to find a seam ripper. I'm like "you've got to have one!"
When I am free motion quilting, there's a lot of thread snipping (seam ripper) and pulling bobbin thread to the front of the quilt (tweezers). Having the Combi-Cut handy is a necessity. My mother gave me my first one, and now she can't find them anywhere, so I ordered a dozen and six of them are going to be part of her birthday present.
I like it because you can slide the cover and not have to worry about poking yourself when you put a cover back on it. Love it so much I gave my mom one for Mothers Day.
The Combi-Cut is both a seam ripper and a pair of tweezers. You can rip stitches, then pull the stray threads with ease. The seam ripper is narrow, enabling you to get out the tiniest of stiches. Fantastic sewing tool. Once you have used one you will never use another seam ripper again.
