I bought my first one years ago at a fabric store that's no longer in business. I was very disappointed when I couldn't find a CombiCut locally. So I searched the web. Amazon had it but it was very expensive, almost 4 times what I'd paid for it in the store. Then I found it at Tooltron for a very reasonable price. I was so pleased to finally have the seam ripper that I liked best. They're versatile and safe. The ripper is hidden away unless you're using it. The tweezers are perfect for pulling out those pesky little bits of thread left from using the ripper. I've got this website bookmarked so I can find it again when I need a new CombiCut. I have a tendency to lose seam rippers; have had ever since I learned to sew when I was a kid. Thanks Tooltron!

I have used one of these for years. The stitch ripper is nice and sharp and it is handy to have tweezers attached for grabbing short thread ends. I just bought 8 of them to give to the girls in our 4-H sewing class. The beginners always buy cheap sewing kits with poorly made tools. Just having a nice seam ripper makes it easier for them when they have to pull out the inevitable mistakes. The tweezers are great for small hands.
