I obsess over thimbles and like leather ones the best. This is a good one. I would call it excellent except for two factors: it runs a little tight and it may not be shielded enough on the business end. I haven't used it much yet so I may be judging it prematurely. It's a nice thickness and feels comfortable, if a little small.
