Love these scissors! I briefly tested them when they arrived and they seem to be working great, I cut some fabric and the scallops were good.

I finally found some scissors to cut booked wool for clothing, flowers, etc. Ones with a soft edging, instead of zig zag. However cutting on the left edge of fabric makes for great leaves!

The little scallops make such a pretty finish on seam edges. This is my second pair as 3years later the first pair is now just a little dull for some silks I use but even so still cut great on wools and cottons.
After 'shopping' the internet (and local stores) for a scalloped edge scissors that would reliably and cleanly cut through 2 layers of wool felt, I decided to spend the money on the Tool Tron model. I just couldn't bring myself to trust the Chinese imports that were going for 10.00 or less! After 50 years of sewing, a good scissors is hard to beat and generally you get what you pay for. I was not disappointed when this arrived (and in great shipping time!) It easily and cleanly cut through the felt as I wanted it to. Plus the direction of the scallops was the way I preferred (some of the photos of the Chinese ones showed the scallops 'going the other way.' I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates good quality and expects to use a scissors for long time!
